Join us for a special night of acoustic music at Ghost! We are thrilled to have Jack Senff from the great state of Michigan bringing his contemplative and wistful songs to Santa Fe for the first time. His first album under his own name, "Good To Know You", is a triumph of gentle, minimal arrangements backing up beautiful melodies and concise song structures. Jack is joined by the indelible duo known as Atalaya, who blend their guitar, fiddle, and voices to bring you songs that are as powerfully emotive as they are well crafted. And the prog-infused, melodic post-rockers Future Scars will play a special acoustic set!

Jack Senff

Jack M. Senff has spent most of his adult life trying to find the rhythm, the verve, the song. Loud to soft, time has seen him move from band to band, project to project, drifting between tones and abstractions with the seminal (William Bonney), the earnest (Boy Rex), the obscure (North Folk)

Senff’s first album under his own name, Good To Know You, sees him shedding those masks and monikers in hopes it can bring him that much closer to the work. It is an album about time, love, loss, family—at once an encapsulation of everything that came before, and the first notes of something bright and new dancing just over the horizon.

Good To Know You Is available now, everywhere, on Skeletal Lightning Records.

Atalaya

Dream-folk.

"...the music crafted by Jake Snider and Amelia Stickney is stripped-down and gorgeous, a semi-dark minimal stab at acoustic-driven indie-folk not entirely unlike early Cat Stevens melded with Radiohead-esque vocal feats. Yup, they're good."

Future Scars

"Presently Post Most Things"

Rooted in the high desert, Future Scars is a tender, frenzied monsoon of sound. With lyrically-focused songs that rise and fall between impassioned roars and soft confessions, they create a dramatic, emotionally turbulent musical landscape for the members’ diverse influences to converge.

While the band’s genre could be described as “part” everything—metal, post-rock, weird-rock, prog, indie—their sound resists labeling, which allows the listener to fully sink into their unfamiliar yet compelling euphonic world.
