Hailing from the land of brutal winters and deep dish pizza, North by North has developed their own brand of infectious, spastic yet finely-honed rock and roll. They seamlessly toe the line between 3 minute garage pop anthems and your dad’s favorite “prog-rock deep cuts” cassette tape, with plenty of hooks to spare.
North By North are joined by local wave-rock favorites Thieves & Gypsyswho are celebrating the release of their new album Slipping Through. Slipping Though is a collection of incomplete songs that the band had tucked away in their back pocket for almost 4 years. When long time drummer Adam Cook decided it was time to follow his passion to move back to the east coast, the band decided it was time to write an album with songs to remember him by. Over the course of a 2 weeks writing and completing the songs and 3 days of recording, the band discovered a darker nature to their sound that is also beautiful and mature and shows what it can be like to live in memories and how time can just slip though the cracks.
ABQ's Crime Lab opens for a night chock-full of catchy and dancable rock n' roll vibes.
